Lebo’s infectious enthusiasm infuses every event she’s appointed to, whether as a speaker, performer or MC. She’s also the melodious voice behind CNN’s Inside Africa. Her television work includes presenting shows like L’atitude (SABC1), Drawing The Line (SABC2), and Great Expectations (Etv). She is also a stage and screen actress and was in the Academy Award nominated film, Hotel Rwanda.

Lebo Mashile’s poetry collection, “In A Ribbon of Rhythm” (2005) won the 2006 NOMA Award for Publishing in Africa. Her second collection “Flying Above the Sky” was published in 2008. In 2016, she released her second studio album, Moya, in collaboration with singer/songwriter Majola. In 2018 she performed an original theatre piece, The Venus Hottentot, based on the life of Saartjie Baartman, at Design Indaba.
